What a Wonderful Weekend

This past weekend was spent at the Pagan Unity Festival near Nashville, TN.  The people who run the festival are absolutely fabulous, and their guest speakers are often people I hold dear to my heart, as was the case again this year.  We had a wonderful time meeting new people and spending time with old friends.

Tree Faerie has new scrapes and bruises on her knees from learning the new terrain, although the falls did not stop her from walking and running around almost constantly.  She LOVED the wooden wheelchair ramp, so much so that she would spend an hour just running up and down it.  She tried sliding down it the first night without much luck.  I think the resulting scrape on the back of her leg deterred her from trying again.  Mental Note:  Take Tree Faerie to the park to slide on the slide.

Tree Faerie also enjoyed entertaining the crowd this weekend.  Everyone just loved her.  She danced with me on Friday Night and with DTTF on Saturday night, and while we tried to keep her from stealing the show, she definitely attracted attention.

In other news, I have joined a crocheting and knitting site that excites me to know end - Ravelry!  I can hardly wait to start new projects!  I have my eyes on a couple of fingerless glove patterns that would be a great gift for a dear friend and fabulous musician, S.J. Tucker.

Also, I still haven't sat down to fix my "missing" posts, one of which is a review of The Fairy Chronicles: Marigold and the Feather of Hope.  Check out the Fairy Chronicles website while you're waiting.
